My best friend since middle school is leaving for Austrailia today and I was supposed to go with her.

I'm just sitting here where it's cold and boring and I'm feeling like I need something crazy to happen in my life to spice it up a bit but I have too much shit to do here. Edit my movie, work on my website, eat... I don't feel like it.

I just downloaded Britney Spears new album and I don't know why. haha.

I think I might try my hand at acting in me and joe's next film... I'm really scared of being in front of the camera instead of behind it. I don't like being on video.

I want to go out dancing at a gay club.

I was working on the 48 hour film festival project all day yesterday and I am totally beat.

The night before I went to bed at like 2:30 AM, woke up at 5:30 AM to go to the set. We worked in 3 locations and wrapped at 3AM. Then I got home all loopy from lack of sleep and stayed up another 2 hours. So ultimately I was up for 24 hours and running on 2 hours of sleep.

I was better off than some of the people involved in pre-production who stayed up all night previous to shooting.
It took painfully long and everyone started to get a little loopy/grumpy but all in all I really enjoyed working on it. It's always a bizarre experience working on shorts, the long hours make it feel like you've known the crew your whole life. It's a strange phenomenon.

social anxiety that makes me think that everyone hates me.

I'm not sure that it's completely unfounded.

Me and Cameron got back in town late last night from our trip to Philly. I had a couple shoots and we hung out with Mike, Anthony and Jason. Mike ended up going out to a party with one of the guys from infinite involving a ton of girls from one of the hair schools in the area. We were supposed to go but I didn't really feel like hanging out with a bunch of fabulous Jersey girls getting all wasted and we were both just so tired from the drive and the goings on of the day that we decided to watch crappy "creature" shows on the History channel instead. Those shows piss me off and so does the History channel in general... It's the HISTORY channel not the "aliens are probably but not definitely responsible for most things" channel. Get over the aliens!

Anyway Mike made out with one of the girls and got her phone number after making fun of her horrible taste in music and then we all told him to runaway because she's probably crazy. haha.

Anyway the whole trip was fun and I have more cool photos coming and some new friends.

Okay, I know I'm going to throw some black in my hair and I'd like to keep the blue & blond as well.... I'm bored already so I need you guy's help! Post pictures, tell me what you think I should do (it doesn't matter if it's not the same colors). I want it to be crazy wacky!

I guess this is a pretty major hot topic right now and I completely understand why. I'm continually amazed at the amount of bullying I see going on within different websites with people (young girls especially) who don't even know each other.

I saw the story about the girl who hanged herself after being bullied by neighbors posing as a boy her age and to think that an adult may have been involved is completely apalling.
Bullying is always in issue no matter what age you are but when you're young it can really be devastating. When I was in middle school it was all about the 3 way call or sending nasty IMs, now kids are creating entire websites to pick on their school mates.

I really think the internet has become a place where it's easy to be anonymous and say things that they would probably never say in real life. I want to hear what you guys think! What are you experiences with bullies, where have you seen this happening and do you think that the internet is fueling the fight?

xobabykittyxo wanted to know about my eating and exercising habits. Everybody struggles with body image at some point, myself included and I know it can be a real downer but everyone deserves to feel great about themselves! Since I feel really strongly about people being happy with their bodies I thought I would share my response:

Ah! It's kind of funny that you ask me this because I really don't have a very strict regimen. I have a super small frame naturally so that helps, but other than that I try to eat small meals really frequently like 5 small meals a day. Eating more really speeds up your metabolism. Eat as much green stuff as possible and protein. I've been a vegetarian since I was 7 but I started eating tuna recently because it's a really good, fast way to get protein.

I really suck at working out because I hate going to the gym by myself and it's hard to motivate a friend to go with you all the time! My favorite way of working out at home is just making a mixed tape of my favorite upbeat songs and dancing like crazy! You don't have to be any good just try not to stop dancing!

I also really love yoga. It's an awesome way to tone up, it's relaxing it makes me feel great. My mom is a yoga teacher which is really cool and she'll give me tapes that I can do at home. Once you learn a few moves you can just do it while you watch tv or whatever!

Last I try to take the stair whenever I have the option and I ride my bike as much as possible! It's faster and you get to enjoy the scenery on your way to school/work or wheverever!

I totally have vices just like everybody but I say who cares! No diets, I love pizza and beer and when I try to cut those things out it just makes me want them more, so I just go for it but try not to go overboard. I think as long as you're happy and having fun it's really easy to lose weight or stay in shape. It's when us gals get bummed out and sit at home pigging out and moping that we pack on the pounds so get out there and have some fun!

It's all about having fun, cause who wants to do it if it isn't fun?!

I hope all of you guys take really good care of yourselves and can look in the mirror and just be happy with what you are! You only get one body so you better take care of it!

Seriously I get this one so much that it's becoming absurd. The people at city hall seriously think it's my name, the cashier at TJmaxx tells his friends that he saw Paris again today, random people on the street shout it at me. Okay, I mean I get it, I'm skinny and blond and maybe have some similar facial features but seriously when I go to an oral surgeon to get my wisdom teeth pulled and the ladies gassing me start gabbing about "oo she look just like Paris Hilton, I can't believe it, I'm gonna tell all my friends..." that's a little overboard. I really don't want to hear about it when I'm halfway conscious.

2. Anne Heche (Great the crazy bitch...)

This one I get from friends who swear that this is exactly what I'm going to look like when I'm older. Persoanlly I think she's squinty-eyed and could use to eat a sandwich.

3. Chloe Sevigny


Okay Chloe Sevigny is super cute and I really can't say anything bad about her but ever since Kids came out people would tell me I looked like her. I just think that is completely wrong and I don't see any similarities at all. Zero.

I guess all blond white girls look the same.

4. Barbara Streisand (wow)


Everytime I've seen my uncle from the time I was 13 he told me I look like a young Barbara Streisand. This gave me a complex about needing a nose job for many years.


5. Mae West (awesome)


This one's for the old timers. Mae West was a big girl but she is way awesome and a total icon who was always witty. I couldn't take this as anything other than a compliment.


Everyone has an opinion and it's usually pretty weird. I get Russian a lot as well and twice in one week someone asked me if I was Persian (what the hell?)

It is awesome outside again today. It's been like 3 days of perfect weather in January I can't believe it!

I'm being lazy today though and even though I want to go outside and hang out I have no idea what to do. I went to Harrison st. for lunch and got a tempeh artichoke sub with mozarella cheese and tomato. So freaking good.

I embarrassingly forgot put a bra on before I went out and my shirt was totally see through. I may have made some of their customers blush but whatever. They're all hippies and the gay girl that used to work there had WAY bigger boobs that me and was probably bra-less at all times. It's because bras just hold us back! Like men! Burn them both!

We were supposed to have a 'girls night' last night so I went over to Jenny's house and she and amanda rolled out a bunch of sushi. It was SOOOO good. They made avacado rolls and tuna rolls and sweet potato rolls and then we just ate sweet potato dipped in tempora and it was awesome.


In classic Amanda fashion we hung out for like an hour and then she told her boyfriend to come over because she can't be away from "pickle" for more than one second. Then Cameron called me and he came over and the boys talked about bike polo and were annoying. At the end of the night it was just me and Jenny hanging out and then I rode my bike home and it was a nice ride.

I don't really think it's cool for other models to talk shit about me to photographers. It's kind of ridiculous and petty. It isn't my life goal to be a model, I just do it for fun and to make friends so if you want to say that I'm 'not cut out for it' or that I 'try too hard' you should probably bite me.

Sorry I went to college instead of being a stripper and have bigger aspirations in life than having the biggest collection of pretty pictures of myself. I don't like you with reason, because you continuously screw my friends over and you may or may not be half retarded based on your statements describing what you think about people and the world.

 It certainly doesn't make you look professional to talk shit about me to friends of mine that I have worked with for years. Please grow up and until you come up with a very well thought out and honest apology as far as I'm concerned you can go fuck a pole.
